YNW Melly, who is currently behind bars facing murder charges, spoke to Lil Durk and King Von from jail.

YNW Mellyreached out from behind bars to speak to Lil Durkand King Von. A partial part of their conversation was captured on Instagram Live. Durk and his OTF signee Von offered words of encouragement and joked back-and-forth with the incarcerated rapper, assuring him he would get out soon. There was no discussion about Mellys ongoing murder case. The embattled rapper was arrested on February 13 for allegedly killing fellow crew members Christopher Thomas Jr. (a.k.a. YNW Juvy) and Anthony Williams (a.k.a. YNW Sakchaser) last October. Mellys alleged accomplice, Cortlen Henry (a.k.a. YNW Bortlen), recently pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder and accessory charges. Henry initially suggested the two victims were shot in a drive-by shooting, but Miramar police say the shots actually came from inside the vehicle. Detectives believe Melly shot both men and staged a drive-by with Henry, who proceeded to drive around with the bodiesfor a extended period of time before taking them to a hospital.
