Some promoters/venue aren't willing to take the risk of booking Travis Scott following 2021's deadly Astroworld Festival including Miami's Hard Rock Stadium.

On Sunday (July 17), Rolling Loud Miami CEO/co-founder Tariq Cherif announced Kanye Westwas being replaced by Kid Cudidue to circumstances outside of control. Many suggested Scott wouldve been a more suitable replacement at the Hard Rock Stadium event, but Cherif explained it simply wasnt possible. As he wrote via Twitter, Tried to convince Ye to stay on the lineup, but he wasnt having it. Venue wont allow Travis because of Astroworld deaths. Ten people lost their lives either during the Astroworld Festival or after succumbing to their injuries days after, resulting in hundreds of lawsuits against Scott, Live Nation and other promoters involved. Scott has maintained for months he had no ideawhat was unfolding in front of him. Travis didnt really understand the full effect of everything until the next morning, his attorney Ed McPherson told Good Morning America at the time. Truly he did not know what was going on. Understand that when hes up on the stage and he has flashpots going off around him and he has an ear monitor that has music blasting through it and his own voice, he cant hear anything, he cant see anything.
