It makes sense that she would offer advice to artist Chle Bailey as she leaves duo Chle x Halle and embarks on a solo career. Chle Bailey went on Tamron Hall to share the challenges of embarking on a solo career as well as valuable advice offered by Beyonce, who she considers one of her idols. Chle shared some of the reasons behind her choice to embark on a solo career after being part of a duo with her sister, Halle, saying: It almost happened very naturally. You know, my sister got the role of Ariel. And Im so proud of her. And with that, she had to go to London for about eight months. And you know, it almost turned into two years because of the pandemic. So with that we were separated and it was really hard for the both of us. We had separation anxiety almost. We both knew one day wed do our own projects, we just didnt know it would come so fast. She added, That was the longest weve ever been separated from each other. Because, you know, were not twins, but we operated like we were. Shes my best friend. And so when she was over there, when I create music, its therapy for me. So I just couldnt stop. And I just kept creating, and it just kept piling up and piling up. And I was like, well, I gotta do something with it. When asked what it was like to be compared to Beyonce, she said that it was the greatest compliment she could ever receive, but that there will never be another Beyonc. There will never be another queen. I just have to say I hope that one day I can even reach even an ounce of the success that she has. And Im just so grateful to be mentored by her and to just take jewels and learn from her. As for specific advice from Beyonce, Chle said the best advice she received from the superstar was to just trust my gut. And that what I feel matters and what I believe in matters. And I always love her because she never tries to force her opinion on my sister and I. Shell always ask us first like what do you think?
