During an appearance on Talib Kwelis Peoples Party podcast The Dilated Peoples member recalled producing The Last Call for Kanyes seminal debut album The College Dropout, but getting into a dispute with him over production credits. and I had a big argument, he said. He was like, This is going to be the biggest rap album in history, so we need to talk about when people ask who did what. So I was like, How did it go? And he was like, You did the music; I did the drums. Im like, Alright. But then were listening and Im like, Thats my 808, right? And hes like, Yeah, but I put it low.
