Offset was one of the celebrities donating to cover the funeral costs for the late Anthony Johnson, best known for his role in Friday. Offset donated $5,000 to help cover the funeral costsfor Friday star Anthony Johnson. Johnsons widow Lexis Jones Mason told TMZthe Migos rapper was one of the multiple donors assisting Johnsons family. After Johnsons widow revealed the financial burden of laying her husband to rest, the family received almost $70,000 in donations. In addition to Offset, comedians Lil Rel Howery and Michael Blackson donated thousands of dollars to the grieving family. Johnsons widow also received calls from notable names such as Fat Joe, Tommy Davidson, Faizon Love and DC Young Fly. Johnson passed awayat the age of 55 on September 6. He was rushed to a hospital after his nephew found him unresponsive inside a store in Los Angeles. He was pronounced dead at the hospital. Read more
