Tho I cant really bring myself to discuss the passing of my father as yet, she continued. I can say it has been the most devastating loss of my life. Robert Maraj was struck by a 70-year-old driver named Charles Polevich on February 12 who immediately fled the scene of the accident in Long Island, New York. Law enforcement found the car with an altered appearance in a garage and arrested Polevich on February 17. He was charged with leaving the scene of a fatal accident as well as evidence tampering.
