Jonathan Wright, Megan's longtime friend and hairstylist, stopped by the 'Beyond The Chair'podcast on Friday (April 29) and confirmed the Houston rapper's account, saying Tory did offer her hush money and allegedly reached out to him to do the same.

Wright also recalled his initial reaction to the news of the shooting, while threatening to beat Tory Lanez up if he runs into him. I wanted to go beat Tory ass, he said. The One Umbrella head quickly posted $350,000 bail and was released soon after. Both Megan Thee Stallion and Tory Lanez are due back in court on August 17, with the trial set to begin on September 14. Tory faces a maximum sentence of 22 years if convicted. Read more
