The Wall Street Journal recognized Lil Nas X for his innovation in music, but the star praised Playboi Carti, another innovator who's doing just as much.

Lil Nas X is being recognized for his remarkable run since dropping his diamond-certified hit Old Town Road in 2019. On Monday (November 1), X received his flowers at The Wall Street Journals Innovator Awardsalongside Kim Kardashian West, Lewis Hamilton, actor Ryan Reynolds, and more. The Montero rapper hit the red carpet before the show and answered a few questions, such as which artists he thinks are innovative. According to the Grammy Award winner, his fellow Atlanta brethren is as creative as it gets. Playboi Carti , me personally, I feel like hes become like this huge rockstar in the Rap realm, Lil Nas X said. Hes a pretty entertaining performer.
