Kanye West had what sounded likeas an epic meltdown during a recent court-ordered deposition with Black-owned business MyChannel.
an epic meltdown during a recent court-ordered deposition with Black-owned business MyChannel, whos suing the Hip Hop mogul for allegedly stealing the companys technology to sell his Sunday Service merchandise. But according to court documents obtained by AllHipHop, the Plaintiffs learned he was in Honolulu, Hawaii recording an album and didnt want to be bothered by their paltry $63,000 lawsuit. After all, Kanye reportedly said they were lucky to be deposing the richest Black man in America and a Black Trump supporter. Hawaii has been fertile ground for Kanye Wests creative genius before. In 2010, he famously worked on his magnum opus My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy among the lush Hawaiian foliage and crashing Pacific Ocean waves. He flew in several of his favorite producers and artists to work on the project, including Q-Tip, Kid Cudi, Pusha T, Mike Dean, No I.D. and RZA. As Pusha T told Complex at the time, working with Kanye on My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy was an unforgettably grandiose experience. Kanye West is the hardest working man in music, he said. If it wasnt for deadlines, I dont know if anything would be finished. Ive heard things that I thought were perfect, and I come back and theyre more perfect and theyre still not done. The guys the maestro. Its a totally unorthodox waywell, its unorthodox to me, cause Ive never seen anyone work in pieces like that. It was really on some Quincy Jones shit, man.
