Gunna Gives Back To His Community By Opening a New Store

Gunna loves his hometown of South Fulton, Georgia, and he just gave back in a major way by opening a free grocery and clothing store in his old middle school.

Gunna is one of the more popular rappers hailing from Atlanta, Georgia and his city loves him, especially when he does good deeds by giving back as he did last week. The WUNNA rapper visited his old stomping grounds, Ronald McNair Middle School on Thursday (September 17) to surprise students with a marvelous gift to help get them through the post-COVID-19 school year. In a partnership with Atlanta-based non-profit organization Goodr, Gunna opened Gunnas Drip Closet and Goodr Grocery Store. The store allows students to grab food, toiletries, shoes and clothes for free. These are things I said I was gonna do when I got in a position to do it so I just gotta follow that, Gunna told The Atlanta Voice I want them to learn that you can be anyone you want to be, you can be anything you want to be because look at me. I did what I wanted to do and I went to the same school that they went to.
