Despite the album debuting at No. 4 on the Billboard 200, the seasoned R&B singer had a few words for those who didnt support the album. In January 2019, the 33-year-old was arrested in Paris after a woman claimed Brown sexually assaulted her at a Parisian hotel. The accuser said she met Brown at club Le Crystal on the evening of January 15 and she agreed to follow him back to the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, where the alleged crime took place. Three years later, another woman filed a civil suit falsely accusing Brown of raping her on a yacht in Miami in December 2020. The woman attempted to sue Brown for $20 million, but Brown submitted text messages to the Miami police department indicating they had a consensual relationship. The accusers attorney dropped the case against him after claiming she was unaware of the messages. Brown plans to counter sue the accuser for defamation for making false accusations. Read more
